Daniel Rosen has a national reputation as a preeminent trial lawyer and advocate. Mr. Rosen is sought after by local businesses and the largest national corporations alike to handle complex commercial and real-estate litigation, and he is the leading Minnesota lawyer representing property owners in eminent domain takings. His work on behalf of commercial enterprises and individuals includes disputes ranging from hundreds of thousands to hundreds of millions of dollars.
Mr. Rosen has won some of the largest condemnation cases in Minnesota, representing owners in the takings of a wide variety of property types, including downtown buildings, regional shopping malls, urban, suburban, and rural retail, hotels, office buildings, industrial facilities, trucking terminals, warehouses, grain elevators, automobile sales, automobile service, parking facilities, restaurants, bars, liquor stores, apartment buildings, vacant land, and more.
Prior to the practice of law, Mr. Rosen served as an officer in the United States Navy. A frequent public speaker, Mr. Rosen is on the faculty of several legal education institutions where he lectures on eminent domain. He also serves on the board of directors of the Minnesota Eminent Domain Institute.
Mr. Rosen serves as the Chairman of the Minnesota Council of the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and on the boards of directors of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota.
